Misting Fluid LBH

Oil Mist Lubricant

Mist Fluid LBH lubricant is specifically designed to give optimal performance in oil mist lubrication systems. A unique combination of carefully selected base stocks and performance additives yields lubricants which are easily misted, yet offer excellent re-classification on bearing and gear surfaces. Mist Fluid LBH offers outstanding thermal and oxidative stability. They resist lubricant breakdown, deposit and sludge formation, and additive dropout even in wet, high heat environments.

Applications

Mist Fluid LBH is recommended for use with all properly designed and adjusted oil mist lubrication systems.
Mist Fluid LBH is specifically designed for the high heat, heavy load, low rpm, and wet conditions typically encountered in paper machine dryer end bearings.

Features & Benefits

  • Excellent thermal and oxidative stability
  • Excellent misting and re-classification properties
  • Good rust and corrosion protection
  • Excellent anti-wear (AW) and extreme pressure (EP) properties
  • Resist lubricant breakdown, additive dropout, and formation of sludge and deposits
  • Optimal lubricant delivery to bearing surfaces, reduced stray mist
  • Protects bearing surfaces and machine components
  • Protects heavily loaded bearings and gears

Syntran 650

Synergistic Heat Transfer Fluid

SynTran 650 is a new cutting edge technology, heat transfer fluid which incorporates a uniquely stable base stock and a proprietary synergistic additive package. A premium quality heat transfer fluid designed to outperform even the best synthetic heat transfer fluids, Syntran 650 is stable at temperatures as high as 650°F (343°C).
Extensive research has culminated in an entirely new and unique synergistic additive system which outperforms the best anti-oxidants on the market today. When combined with the inherent natural inhibitors in SynTran 650’s unique base stock, the result is a fluid whose oxidation stability exceeds that of fully synthetic heat transfer fluids. Independent laboratory TOHTL testing against 2 premium quality heat transfer fluids (mineral oil based and synthetic) clearly shows the benefit of this new technology, the total amount of oxidised solids is lowest for the SynTran 650.

SynTran 650 has exceptional resistance to oxidation and thermal decomposition, coupled with a deposit resisting nature. In addition, there are no light ends to contribute to instability.

Applications

SynTran 650 will provide extremely long life in both open and closed indirectly heated, liquid phase heat transfer systems. In closed systems, it is recommended for use at bulk temperatures up to 316°C (600°F) and skin temperatures up to 343°C (650°F), although short excursions to higher temperatures are possible.

Features & Benefits

  • Non-Toxic, Non-Controlled
  • Chemically Inert
  • High Thermal and Oxidative Stability
  • Low Deposit Forming Tendency
  • Environmentally Safe. No special handling or disposal issues. No health concerns
  • Mild on seals, non-corrosive to heat exchangers
  • Stable in high temperature applications. Minimal make-up fluid requirements. Long fluid life
  • Reduced deposits and plugging of lines and heat exchangers. Improved system and overall heat transfer efficiency
