Compressor Pneumatic Fluids

Compressor Pneumatic Fluids

Forsythe offer a complete line of compressor fluids, both Conventional and Synthetic.

Available in all common viscosity grades, our compressor lubricants are made with the purest of mineral oil base stocks and sophisticated anti-oxidant additives. This adds up to longer life from an economical fluid.

Our line of Synpressor products are synthetic and available in ISO grades 32-100. These fluids are the state of the art lubricant for those needing long-lasting, (8000+ hrs.), and carbon deposit free performance from their compressor lube.

Both conventional and synthetic compressor fluids are suitable for use in line lubricators as air-tool lubricants.

Specialty air-tool lubricants can be blended, such as our Rock-Drill oil, commonly used in mining applications. We are able to formulate, and blend, to your specific requirements.

Synpressor

Diester Based Synthetic Compressor Lubricants

Synpressor is a high performance synthetic compressor lubricant blended from premium quality diester base stocks. It offers outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, allowing 8,000+ hours of operation between lubricant change outs. The inherent detergency of Synpressor plus its excellent high temperature stability eliminates or significantly reduces carbon build-up, varnish, and sludge deposits, thereby providing extended valve life, improved compressor safety and reliability and increased energy efficiency.

Synpressor 32 and 68 are recommended for flooded rotary vane and screw type air compressors. Synpressor 100 is recommended for cylinder and crankcase lubrication of reciprocating (positive displacement) air compressors. In all cases the OEM equipment operating manual should be consulted for proper viscosity grade selection.

Synpressor is also suitable for air line oilers on pneumatic equipment, as well as gear, bearing, hydraulic and chain applications operating beyond mineral oil capabilities.

Features & Benefits

  • Very low deposit and varnish forming tendencies
  • Excellent high temperature stability
  • High flash and fire points, low pour point
  • Superior anti-wear performance
  • Extremely low volatility
  • Excellent rust and corrosion protection
  • Increased compressor efficiency, reduced risk of airline explosion, and decreased downtime for maintenance
  • Extended fluid life. Reduced downtime for fluid changes, and reduced fluid costs
  • Wide operating temperature range
  • Reduced wear of moving parts, increased bearing life
  • Low fluid consumption, less downstream carryover
  • Protects compressor and reduces maintenance
