Chain Oil

ClassLube

Classlubes are free flowing oils blended from turbine quality base stocks. All Classlubes are fully blended to inhibit oxidation, wear and have a unique dual anti-rust additive system to provide extra rust protection under corrosive shaft conditions. Classlube is also fortified with a tackifier to provide adhesion of the lubricant to wire ropes.

Your Forsythe Technical Representative can advise which Classlube is best suited for your particular requirements.

Features & Benefits

  • Multipurpose product
  • Excellent anti-rust additive
  • Forms a thin film on the rope
  • Excellent penetration and wetting ability
  • Excellent adhesion
  • Used on both friction and drum hoist ropes
  • Corrosion protection right to the core of the wire rope
  • Reduces fling off
  • Provides ep and corrosion protection from the crown to the core of the rope
  • Provides “staying power” reducing lubrication intervals

Packaging

20 litre pails, 205 litre drums, 1000 litre totes and bulk shipments as required.

Heavy & Light

Forsythe Chain Oils is an tacky lubricant developed to lubricate the chain, bar guide and drive sprocket on chain saws used in the logging industry. It is suitable for use with all types of chain saws equipped with either hand-operated or automatic oilers.

Application

  • All chains, include oil baths, automatic and manual lubricated
  • Saw mills, Woodlands , Conveyor systems and mining operations
  • Bars and chain
